Hanifah Yoong enjoyed his first clear pass on the slalom course in years!

Armand Ali is now clearing the mini slalom course with no problems except he has to work on his position. He loves to venture into the main course but understands that with more free skiing he can correct his position faster.

With so many new and very young waterskiers now in Putrajaya, its time to contemplate an "All Malaysian Ski Show Team". Here in this video there is something more than Aaliyah Yoong having some fun with her dad, Hanifah, it is more to show the present trainees what a ski show may entail. This is just the start of training those trainees who might drop out of tournament skiing and who might consider being in the show team to be formed later this year. But before that we need at least 5 skiers who are younger (than Hanifah) and stronger who will form the base of a three-tier pyramid formation. :-)

Rennie Khoo, a committee member of the Malaysian Water Ski Federation, joins Pipa and Hanifah to reinforce the coaching team for the 24 Malaysian trainees in Putrajaya. Here he shows trainees how slalom is to be tackled.
